Yiasou Greek Festival


Transportation Tips

Visitors who ride the Lynx or city bus to the Yiasou Greek Festival can get in free when they show their stamped ticket with the current date. Ride the Lynx Blue Line light-rail train to the East/West Boulevard station, which is located about one-half mile from the festival entrance.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) also provides daily bus service. Visitors can be dropped off or catch the bus on East Boulevard at the festival entrance. For bus and light rail schedule information, call 704-366-RIDE or go online www.charmeck.org/Departments/CATS/HOME.htm.

Lynx East/West Blvd Station

Shuttle Service Only! Ride the LYNX Blue Line to the East/West Blvd Station. Look for the shuttle signs! The East/West Blvd LYNX station does not have a "Park and Ride" lot. All parking around this station is for private businesses. Towing is strictly enforced by the businesses. The Yiasou Greek Festival and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral are not responsible for parking and towing issues!

Shuttle service will run on the following dates and times.

  • Thursday September 5 • 4:00pm - 9:30pm
  • Friday September 6 • 4:00pm - 10:30pm
  • Saturday September 7 • 12:00pm - 10:30pm
  • Sunday September 8 • 12:00pm - 8:30pm

Corner of East Boulevard and Scott Avenue

Across from "131 Main" and "Brixx Pizza". Park at this lot any time throughout the festival. All parking around this lot is for private businesses. Towing is strictly enforced by the businesses. The Yiasou Greek Festival and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral are not responsible for parking and towing issues!
